Getting started

How do I create my first event?

Sign in with your phone number, tap Create event in your dashboard, and fill in the title, date and venue. Then add guests one-by-one or upload a CSV.

How do guests receive the invitation?

When you tap Send, each guest gets a personalised WhatsApp card (or SMS fallback) with their name and event details. They can RSVP with a single tap.

Payments and michango

Which payment methods are supported?

Halopesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas for Tanzania. Card payments via Stripe for international guests.

How fast do michango reach my wallet?

Mobile-money contributions reflect within minutes after the operator confirms the payment. Card payments may take a few hours to settle.

WhatsApp Business

Do I need my own WhatsApp Business account?

No. You can use the Shereko shared WABA out of the box. To reply to guests directly, connect your own WhatsApp Business or request our branded setup from Settings.

Why can't I see guest replies?

Replies are routed back to whichever WhatsApp number sent the card. If you used the shared WABA, replies stay with our support team. Connect your own WABA to receive them in your inbox.
